This Concert Poster Design advertises a local Indianapolis show featuring the band Dell Zell. I designed this poster to emphasize the headlining group, and to visually reinforce their brand.
We also created a silly short video to advertise the show, which is linked by the QR code. The poster was distributed all over Indianapolis, and the video accumulated hundreds of views in a short amount of time.
In the summer of 2010 I had the pleasure of working as an Intern for Oranje, a local Indianapolis contemporary visual arts and music festival. This promotional video captures the second "Peel Party" of the season, at Talbot Street Nightclub.
This video was shot by myself and Joe Milton. I edited the video using Adobe Premiere and spiced it up with some visual effects in Adobe After Effects. This was a lot of fun!
This is a fun little original song I threw together using Cakewalk Sonar X1 and Propellerhead's Reason 4.0. I mastered the final audio track using Sony Soundforge.
Sometimes, songwriting calls for a lot of experimentation, and a long time to complete. This was not one of those songs! I started by creating the beat and some of the synth sounds on Cakewalk Sonar X1. I recorded some acoustic guitar to the beat and the song took on a life of it's own from there. I'm happy with the way it turned out.

This is a clip of the "song" Mind Control performed live by Dead Birds Adore Us at Birdy's Live in Indianapolis Indiana. Mind Control is an experimental noise track, and this clip features the live psychedelic visuals from Dead Birds Adore Us VJ Jerin Kelly. This clip was recorded by my friend Meaghan Skrzynecki using an Iphone 4.
I originally created the experimental sound design here for the Dead Birds Adore Us live song Mind Control. When the song would reach a certain point, I would play this audio, which added extra texture and dimension to what the band is playing.
The band's live visual artist/VJ Jerin Kelly used the audio to create this video for an art class at Herron School of Art and Design. The result was a vintage flavor of psychedelic, reminicent of The Flaming Lips.
This video contains clips of music production projects spanning from 2007-2010. The artists I worked with here are Firstwater, Zombieater, Dave Morrison, JRobb, Papa Smurf. I included a few original compositions as well.
I started recording music and playing with sound design as an undergrad at IU's School of Informatics. I created this video in 2010 to showcase my work at the time.
Vectren's Energy Safe Kids is an educational online game which teaches children about natural gas and electrical safety.
The game was grant-funded and created by a team at IUPUI. I worked under the supervision of sound designer and music producer, Ricardo Laranja. I was primarily responsible for creating the mini-game sound effects and selecting/looping music samples.
I directed this video to help the Alternative Rock band Firstwater promote their first single "Watch Me Fall". This project was a lot of fun, and a valuable learning experience. This was my first major video production!
I collaborated with Firstwater and my partner Nick Rice to draft a story. We shot the video with a single Cannon GL2 camera and a detailed shot-by-shot storyboard.
